Esposto non esibito

L’esibizionismo del nostro tempo è soltanto una pallida imitazione, una deformazione, una perversione della naturale condizione esposta dell’uomo. La messa in scena dell’intimità nel grande spettacolo televisivo, l’esibizione esasperata, ossessiva, di sé, nel sistema dei media, l’esposizione individuale nelle forme della comunicazione, il vivere per messaggi, cento, mille al giorno, con i quali ci si fa presenti agli altri con un accanimento allucinato, ecco, tutto questo ha certo il suo fondamento nel nostro essere naturalmente esposti. La contemporaneità porta all’esasperazione, all’eccesso, una condizione naturale.
Il piacere dell’esibire di fronte agli altri, di farsi notare, di farsi invidiare, ha proprio in questa condizione naturale il suo punto di appoggio, e su di esso può far leva per dare occasione all’uomo di rappresentare se stesso. Certo, le forme esasperate, come sempre accade, sembrano distruggere il dato naturale, la naturale umanità dell’uomo. Eppure esse esistono proprio perché è proprio dell’uomo essere esposto. Lo è il personaggio del reality show di oggi quanto lo erano Achille ed Ettore qualche millennio fa.
